I'm a former elementary school teacher turned real estate investor, and the founder of Bluetail Real Estate in Albuquerque. Here's what has my attention right now.
Renovating overlooked homes in Albuquerque
At Bluetail, the company I started after seeing a ceiling on income and time in the classroom, I look for properties that need some care and attention and turn them into safe, comfortable places to live. A lot of my focus right now is on those overlooked homes around Albuquerque, giving them a second life instead of letting them sit.
A simpler way to sell, and a path into real property
I keep coming back to one idea: selling a home shouldn't have to mean agents, hefty fees, and endless open houses. I work with homeowners and landlords who want a straightforward alternative, and I like partnering with everyday people, not just big firms, who want to put their money into tangible, real property here in our community.
Time outdoors keeps me grounded
When I'm not deep in a project, I feel most like myself outside. I grew up camping across New Mexico, and these days you'll find me on a bike, a trail, or a rock face, usually somewhere quiet you have to work to reach. I'm also almost always in the middle of a good book. Lately that's been titles like 10x Is Easier Than 2x and The Overstory.
